| As dogs become more reliable in the various open level retrieves, one
must add more and more challenging exercises to prevent boredom.
The goal of the Scent Retrieve Exercise is for the dog to retrieve his/her dumbbell from a group of classmates' dumbbells. |

Dogs are arranged in a circle around the dumbbell pile, and sent individually
to find their owner's dumbbell.
Sometimes handlers will time each dog to see who has the fastest retrieve while still returning with the correct dumbbell. |
